Die eGovernment news berichten über das Notrufsystem eCall, das in Österreich getestet wird: "The Austrian Ministry for Transport is planning to launch the test phase of the EU-wide emergency call system – eCall – in Austria in the coming months. It is hoped that the new system will help improve security on Austrian roads and significantly reduce mortality related to road traffic accidents".
